Pantrix ("we", "our", or "us") helps you scan receipts and groceries, track inventory, and use food before it expires. We believe privacy is a fundamental right. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and your choices.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information: name and email address when you create an account.
• User content: inventory items, shopping lists, and preferences you enter in the app.
• Photos: images you choose to scan (e.g., receipts or groceries) for AI analysis. Photos are processed to extract item data and are not used for advertising.
• Subscription status: whether you have an active Pantrix Pro subscription (handled via Apple and RevenueCat).
• Device & usage data: basic diagnostics needed to operate and secure the service.

2. How We Use Information

We use your information to provide and improve Pantrix, authenticate your account, sync your data, generate recipe suggestions, send optional notifications, and process subscriptions.

3. Third-Party Services

We use trusted providers including Supabase (authentication and data storage), Anthropic (AI analysis of images you submit), RevenueCat and Apple (in-app subscriptions), and push notification services. These providers process data only as needed to deliver the service.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

You may delete your account in Settings. Deletion removes your profile, inventory, and associated stored data from our systems, subject to reasonable backup retention periods.

5. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data. Contact us at support@pantrix.org.

6. Children

Pantrix is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
